  • Irvine Sellar

    Irvine Sellar founded Sellar Property Group in 1991 and is one of UK’s foremost entrepreneurs active in the commercial property market. His instinctive, can-do attitude to life and business is reflected in the SPG ethos.

    His business experience spans 40 years and he has extensive contacts both in and outside the property industry. For more than 30 years’ he has concentrated his efforts in the commercial property market and in the past 10 years has built the group into an organisation with an investment portfolio with a current value of approximately £600m and a development portfolio of more than £3bn. He is the mastermind behind the iconic mixed-use Shard development, Europe’s tallest building, nearing completion at London Bridge.

  • James Sellar

    James Sellar graduated the University Of Westminster with BSC (Hons) in Urban Estate Management and commenced his real estate career at CB Richard Ellis, where he qualified as a chartered surveyor.

    Over the past 12 years James has worked across all principal real estate sectors and developed an intrinsic understanding of real estate finance, investment asset management and development. He was appointed Managing Director and co-owner of Sellar in 2005, and subsequently CEO overseeing all aspects of the Sellar Group’s operations.

    In 2009 James established Sellar Design + Development, with a focus on delivering innovative, design led development in collaboration with world class professionals.

Non-Executive Board

The company benefits from the strategic input of the Group’s non-executive board, which comprises key industry professionals who bring together a wealth of property and financial experience to oversee our activities and provide strategic guidance across the business.
